Strawberry Mousse

An alternative to the infamous chocolate mousse, this version is made with low fat strawberry yogurt instead so you can enjoy this summer treat without the guilt. Experiment with different flavours yoghurt and jelly and create your own mousse.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet raspberry jelly
  • 500ml low fat strawberry yoghurt
  • 1 can evaporated¬† (ideal) milk
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Method:

  1. Mix 1 cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water with jelly in a small bowl and leave to cool.
  2. In another bowl, whip the evaporated milk well and then add 500ml strawberry yoghurt.
  3. Once the jelly has cooled off, add to the ideal milk mixture and pour the mixture into a mould or individual bowls and refrigerate.
  4. It is recommended to try and make it the night before so that it has time to set.

    I have made something similiar to this but without the ideal milk but will definately be making this one.

    Absolutely delicious & little children will love this healthy pudding.
