The 2nd May was a holiday in SA & the weather was a bit chilly. After feeding my family a tasty, oven stew; my daughters & I made the milk tart. It was a hit; everybody just loved it. The crust is tasy & crumbly; the filling is to die for. Will definitely make it again as my daughters & my mother-in-law enjoyed every morsel of it. Thanks for an easy, tasty recipe!

Great recipe, but I reduce the sugar in the custard to half a cup (I don’t have much of a sweet tooth)

This I will try today. looked at some of the other fillings and was not too happy. I would also do as David did and add only half the sugar. tks
